Mary Neville


Mary has extensive financial management experience in both the private and public sectors. Her private sector experience focused on financial management, systems implementation, and reporting, and ranged from multinational electronics companies, media and market research organisations to owner-managed small businesses. In the public sector, Mary managed and implemented the first shared services financial system for the then Department of Arts, Sport, and Tourism which has since become the model for all government departments.

In 2015 Mary set up her own business and began working with Gary Smith Associates in 2016 providing financial and accounting services to a range of small businesses and a number of charitable organisations. She helps businesses to streamline their financial processes and alleviate the burden of financial management as well as producing management accounts, processing payroll, VAT, PAYE and Corporation Tax returns and statutory accounts preparation. She also assists clients with cashflow planning, grant and loan applications.
